Recommended starting packages

With more than 15 years of experience providing live conversation experiences to students for language and cross-cultural learning, we’ve developed some best practices for how to start using TalkAbroad.

For colleges and universities

201	1 30-min conversation + 3 conversations of any length	$37.50 to $45
202 and above	2 30-min conversations + 3 conversations of any length	$50

Global Experiences conversations (30-min conversations in English for cultural learning) are also commonly assigned when cultural learning is required but students need to use English. Each Global Experiences conversation costs $15.

For high schools

Note: We’ve learned that students can do more than we think, sooner than we think! The packages above are minimum recommendations for how to start with TalkAbroad. Over time, we see programs increase the number and length of conversations because student capabilities grow due to the impact of integrating TalkAbroad across levels in a program.
