What is a coordinator account?
A coordinator account is used by large universities to coordinate and supervise groups of instructors teaching a given course. For example, a coordinator might be in charge of SPAN 101 and supervise 15 different instructors that are teaching the course.
The coordinator account allows them to simplify the setup process by setting up accounts, sections and assignments on behalf on the instructors.
